Hi APS! My name is Anna and I recently adopted
Norman from your shelter (3/6/08). I have had him for less than a week now, and
I completely LOVE him to death! Norman spent his first weekend in my hometown of
Mayberry, NC playing with all 4 of his cousin dogs Jake, Wally, Gus and Millie.
He absolutely had a blast! He loves playing with other dogs and is a great
snuggle buddy with the family cats.
Since all of the family dogs happen to randomly be named after my dad's
relatives, I have decided to keep my new buddy's name "Norman,"
which ironically happens to be my mother's grandfather's name. He is the perfect
companion, is coming out of his shell very quickly, and is happy as ever in his
new home. He continues to be spoiled on a daily basis by everyone he meets, and
is only gaining more confidence and feeling more comfortable each day! I am so
happy I visited the APS and am so glad I saw little Norman. He is a wonderful
addition to my little family :) Thank you all so much for what you do! It takes
big hearts to run an organization like the APS, and I am so glad there are
people like you all out there doing what you can for these animals!
If there is any way I can help you all out, please let me know! I can't imagine
a dog as sweet as Norman being overlooked, and I know there are many more at
your shelter! Thank you for my little life changing buddy. He will continue to
have a very happy life in his new forever home, and I will be sure and update
you b/c you all took such good care of him and are the real reason he is now at
home for good :)
